If you have little ones, you must take them to feed the fish at the Blue Springs Lake Marina. They will love it! There are hundreds of fish (carp, I think). Grab a bag of food in the store and watch the fish go crazy. Warning: they splash.

If you aren't busy on a Sunday evening, check out Railroad Park. From 6:30-8:30 almost every Sunday night this summer, there is a band playing, usually blues. These baby ducks seemed to be enjoying the "Crazy Kats".
The three horses in the second picture, they wanted a portrait taken. They came right up and posed. Being a suburban kind of gal, I was a little timid to get right up there for a close-up. After some urging from my husband (assurance they will not bite, they have big teeth, ya know), I moved in a little closer.
When asked to choose a couple of enlargements for display at a school, I chose these. The buildings have been vacant ever since I can remember. I love the colors. The olives, I must confess are a craving and popped out at me when browsing my archives. I can say that no one else had a trio of olives.
